Hi there, a quick note of introduction. I'm Pete, and I'm posting here with my wife Amanda.

Although dogs have always been a huge part of my life, my job now - as an agricultural sales rep - means I can give dogs a tremendous lifestyle - and get to enjoy all the rewards they give.

We recently adopted Holly, a 16 month old Golden lab - who we dote on. She has a few front leg issues (as you'll see from the frequent health forum posts).

As we're gluttons for punishment (and the fun and happiness that comes with it) we also adopted a new girl at the weekend, Kay. She's a beautiful and bright young collie who was abandoned at a police station. I suspect as she settles in my posts for her will be for advice on training  .

Thanks already to those that have helped with the questions :)
