I have just come across your website and found it fascinating and well informed.
Barnaby Boy of Grindley, aka 'Harry' came to live with us on 1st January 2008.
He was born on 10th October 2007 making him 13 weeks old on Thursday this week.
We have two rescue dogs already: Bess,a black labrador and Izzy: a cross between something!
The two girls are not sure what has hit them yet but after a few grumbles and putting him in his place they have settled down to grudgingly making sure he is ok and tolerance is looming!
Toilet training is going well with just the odd mishap, which is to be expected as he is quite young still. I am just about to wean him from four feeds a day to three at an increased
amount and hope that
he settles down to the
new regime!
All puppies are endearing but there is something about labradors that is achingly cute and loveable.
His coat is still a couple of sizes too big, as seem to be his ears and paws! The world is his plaything and Harry has a new adventure
everyday, bigger and
better than the day before!
We are looking forward to many happy hours with the three of them as he gets bigger and can join in with the excitement of walks and swims etc.
