My Collie Cross and Staffie: 'Holly and Scamp' |
|
My name is Jodie Lee and I live in a two bed terrace in Rubery, Birmingham with my partner Simon.
We have access to Wasley Hills which are 5 minutes from us so it's nice for the dogs.
Scamp is a Border Collie cross. He is about a year old, we adopted him from The Blue cross when he was 6 months old. He is so full of energy it's unbelievable. We have had a few undesired behavioral problems with Scamp, he didnt like to be left alone and wrecked our house so we keep him in a kennel with a run through the day.
We also have a problem with visitors at the house, he barks and his hackles come up and can be very intimidating for someone, other than that he's a loveable cuddly dog.
We introduced Holly to him 2 months ago, she was living in someone's front garden on a pile of clothes and the guy couldnt care for her properly so we took her off his hands, we thought she'd make a good companion for scamp.
She did that, she has every bit as much energy and they play together fine.
She was only 4 months when we got her and she's a Staffordshire Bull Terrier. She has been going to puppy training classes as Scamp got clipped by a car and broke his wrist so we had to swap them. She should get her certificate this Wednesday.
