I'm Caius and my dog's name is Jerry Lee.
Here is the story...
As my family will soon move into a new house (we are still building and fixing some stuff), we wanted a dog for our home as well as to help in guarding the house, so I began my search into which breed will be most suitable.
I took into consideration: Rottweiler, BullMastiff, and Boxer. But some day my mom came home and told me that she will get me a dog from a colleague and she could tell me exactly what breed it will be... so I was disappointed.
But the next day she told me that it is an AmStaff, i was thinking well that's ok, but the day after that she told me that its a mix of Rottweiler and Braque Saint-Germain.
Anyway the deal was done and the dog was a gift so we couldnt really say no. He is 7 weeks old and a little fat, when he moves he shakes his rear end!
He's a funny dog and I love him so much, I just hope I wont spoil him too much!
The first thing that I did after getting the dog, was to read all I could find on the internet and forums about training dogs and puppies.
I began to teach him to come when I call his name so that he gets used to the name calling thing and after which I gave him some biscuits.
I'm now trying to make him used to the leash and reward him with the biscuits. I also try to be careful when he needs to go out and pee, I take him out so that he doesn't go in the house, I hope that in a week or two he will know to ask to be let out. I bought so many toys but he still likes to play with my dirty sock!
